Miss Breezy competition process, guidelines, & criteria.
In order to compete for the crown, a $15,000 prize on stage, and the title of Miss Breezy 2023 we have created 3 waves you must successfully swim through.
Wave 1: Complete the following form below with your best responses by no later than Friday June 23. Our team will review each response and the 50 best responses will move on to wave 2.
Wave 2: On June 23 we will announce the 50 semi finalists via email & on our site. A dedicated voting page on our site with all 50 semi finalists listed will go live. Friends, family, and the general public will all be allowed to cast 1 vote each. Voting closes on Friday June 30th! The top 32 candidates who received the most votes will move on to wave 3.
Wave 3: The final 32 candidates will compete on show day. If you are a finalist you will be notified the day of the show prior to walking. A panel of 3 judges will grade your walk on show day. In addition, since we are launching 32 new styles this summer, all finalists will be featured on our site. Each of the 32 finalists will have the swimsuit they wore on the runway named after them with their photos from the show.

Judging Criteria
Walk – How well does this contestant walk the runway? Consider not only the style of the walk, but also how it shows off the swimsuit and any accessories. The contestant should have great posture but not look stiff. They should walk at a runway pace and pause at various intervals to show off the swimwear. A contestant that possesses a natural rhythm/coordination will have the upper hand here.
Personality and Uniqueness – We want to see who each contestant is. While a runway walk is short, it’s just enough time for the contestant to express themselves. The models should be outgoing and demonstrate their unique personalities on the runway.
Confidence and Energy – Top models exude their natural confidence. They are relaxed but also performing. The runway is a stage, and we want to see models that are enjoying themselves and feeling great about who they are. High energy, smiling, and overall enthusiasm is what is important here. If something unexpected happens on the runway, how well does the contestant handle the hiccup?
Commercial Potential – Is there potential for this contestant to book commercial fashion work? The contestant should have a walk that could easily transition to other runway shows. Not only do they sell what they are wearing now, but they possess a marketability for a variety of brands. Contestants that score high here will look at home on the runway.
Crowd Engagement – How well does the crowd react to this contestant? The contestant should engage the crowd and interact in slight ways. They should be fun to watch on the runway because they are confident and enthusiastic. A contestant with clear ability will be able to hold the audience’s attention.
